Florida governor signs bill to rename airport after Trump

WASHINGTON — Florida Governor Ron Desantis signed a bill on Monday to rename Palm Beach International Airport the “President Donald J. Trump International Airport.” Changing the name of the airport still requires a sign-off from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as well as the completion of rights agreements. “Changing an airport name is a local issue and the FAA does not approve airport name changes,” the FAA said in a statement.
