Dominic Ochoa recalled that his best friend, Rico Yan, was “depressed” at the time of his death in 2002 and firmly denied rumors that the latter used illegal drugs. In a recent interview on “Kay Susan Tayo! Vlogs,” Ochoa looked back on Yan’s death that happened 24 years ago. Yan died on March 29, 2002, during Holy Week, at age 27 while vacationing at Dos Palmas Resort in Palawan.
