MANILA, Philippines—Pat Aquino held his head high following his exit as Gilas Pilipinas Women’s coach. Aquino, who was at the PBA games on Tuesday as an assistant for Blackwater, emphasized that the national team’s progress wasn’t just his doing, but the result of everyone involved, especially the players. “It’s not just me. All the girls and all the people who played for the national team, I’m thankful for. I’m happy because they built the program, not just me,” he said.
