Italy, France, UK call for immediate direct political talks between Lebanon and Israel

European countries, including Italy, France and Britain, on Tuesday called for “direct political negotiations” between Israel and Lebanon to end the conflict.The countries vowed to support the Lebanese Armed Forces and the Internal Security Forces in an international support conference as soon as conditions allow.
