The pop singer Melanie Müller has been legally convicted for displaying the Hitler salute. This was announced by a spokesperson for the Leipzig Regional Court. The appeal filed was rejected as inadmissible because it was not substantiated within the prescribed period, it was further stated. The 37-year-old had previously announced on her Instagram page that she had decided, after "very careful consideration," not to pursue the appeal further.
