Backstreet Boy Appears to Use Slur in Blazing Beach Argument

Cell-phone footage shows the 51-year-old musician confronting a man on a Florida beach, who TMZ identified as Kyle Gallagher. The clip, obtained by the Florida Panhandle news station WMBB , bleeps out swear words, but People notes that Littrell appeared to say, “You want to be gay? Want to be a f-----?” TMZ reports that Littrell submitted the video himself in a bid to press criminal charges against Gallagher for battery, but prosecutors said the footage backed up Gallagher’s version of events. An affidavit said that Gallagher “was belligerent and disturbing the peace,” but Walton County Deputy Chief Assistant State Attorney Josh Mitchell declined to press charges because there was a “lack of criminal intent.” The Daily Beast has reached out to Littrell for comment.
