MANILA, Philippines — The heat index of Cebu is expected to hit the “extreme caution’ category as it is among the many areas in the country with heat indices expected to reach that level on Good Friday, April 3, according to the state weather bureau. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) on its 5 p.m. April 2 forecast said that the temperature at the Mactan International Airport in Cebu would be among the areas to reach 34ºC on Good Friday.
