MANILA, Philippines — The private school arm of the Alliance of Concerned Teachers (ACT) has called out the government over its lack of support for private school educators, reiterating its call for standardized minimum wage among their ranks. Jonathan Geronimo, secretary general of ACT Private Schools, also lamented the lack of response from the national government to the ongoing economic crisis that led to the rise in prices of oil and basic goods.
