BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya — Reaffirming their Christian faith, more than 2,000 devotees endured a roughly three-kilometer uphill trek to join a Good Friday procession and the reenactment of the 14 Stations of the Cross at Bangan Hill National Park in Barangay Vista Alegre. Dubbed Pagna-nilay—a combination of the Ilocano word for “walk” and the Filipino word for “pray”—the event featured prayers and a senakulo depicting the life and death of Jesus Christ, performed at each station.
