21 injured as police car hits pedestrians near Albay pilgrimage site

LEGAZPI CITY — Twenty one persons were injured after a police patrol car rolled downhill and struck pedestrians near Kawa-Kawa Hill and Natural Park in Ligao City, Albay on Good Friday. According to initial police reports, the accident occurred at 9:53 a.m. in Tuburan village, where devotees were walking uphill toward a church for Lenten activities in the area, which is a known pilgrimage site.
