500 attend Good Friday penitential rites in Quezon town

LUCENA CITY — More than 500 residents of General Luna town in Quezon province took part in Good Friday penitential rites as part of the town’s Holy Week observance. According to the local government’s Public Information Office (PIO), about 430 residents portrayed “centurions” as they paraded along the town’s main streets.
