The release of 18 people in the IBB case lasted until the morning hours

Following the decision by the Istanbul 40th High Criminal Court to release 18 people in the case in which Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu is also a defendant, the releases began in Silivri. Sırrı Küçük was the first to be released, while CHP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik reacted to the delay in the release procedures. Çelik stated, “Those boasting about 5G technology couldn’t complete the release of 18 people in 6 hours.”
