Earthquake in northern Afghanistan kills 8

A 5.8-magnitude earthquake that struck northeastern Afghanistan earlier has killed at least eight people, Mohammad Yousuf Hammad, spokesperson for the Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, said Friday, reported Xinhua. According to Hammad, a house in Kabul province collapsed following the quake, killing eight residents and injuring a child.
