MANILA, Philippines — Former lawmaker Carlos Zarate on Saturday urged the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to shift to renewable energy amid the ongoing Middle East war. He also said government should not just rely on Iran’s assurance of safe passage of Philippine-flagged vessels through the Strait of Hormuz.
