MANILA, Philippines — Senator Raffy Tulfo on Saturday underscored the importance of swift and proper response during emergencies and accidents following the collapse of a portion of the ceiling at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) Terminal 1 which injured seven persons on Good Friday. “As chairperson of the Senate committee on public services, Senator Tulfo immediately coordinated with Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Giovanni Lopez to check on the condition of the victims and ensure they are receiving proper assistance,” Tulfo’s office said in a statement.
