MANILA, Philippines — Senator JV Ejercito said he is hoping that the guarantee of the safe passage for PH-flagged vessels and Filipino seafarers through the Strait of Hormuz “will materialize and will be sustained.” The senator made the statement as the Philippines reels from the rising cost of fuel due to the ongoing war in the Middle East.
