MANILA, Philippines — Inmates who participate in faith-based rehabilitation programs are showing lesser tendencies toward aggression based on an international research,the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) said on Black Saturday BuCor Director General Gregorio Pio Catapang Jr. cited findings of research from the International Research in Corrections Conference in Auckland, New Zealand. The conference, joined by 300 participants across 30 countries held from March 2 to 5, showed that prisoners involved in religious programs made greater progress in restorative rehabilitation compared with those who did not.
