"The Del Aram Sina Psychiatric Hospital sustained substantial damage following a strike on the facility on Sunday, March 29, amid the Middle East conflict. Footage filmed on Saturday captures the scale of destruction at the hospital, with shattered windows and scattered equipment. "We were operating at half capacity due to the holiday. The number of patients was lower, and fortunately, we had no casualties or serious injuries. We also had no serious injuries or casualties among the staff," Del Aram Sina Psychiatric Hospital head Mohammad Asgari explained. He noted that the patients were transferred to other centers following the attack. "The hospital's condition was bad, the power was cut off, the entire hospital was destroyed, and there was no operation," Asgari remarked. "It will take at least a month for us to activate two out of the five sections, and then activate the rest of the sections. Its full functionality will take at least five or six months," he explained. The Israeli army stated on March 29 that it had "carried out a series of large-scale strikes targeting dozens of facilities affiliated with the Iranian regime across Tehran." However, it had not issued any statement on the targeting of healthcare facilities in Iran at the time of publication. Tensions escalated in the Middle East after the United States and Israel launched a joint military operation against Iran on February 28, when diplomatic talks were taking place aimed at 'undermining Iran's nuclear and missile programs'. Tehran then announced retaliatory strikes on Israel and the US assets in the region. Explosions were reported in different Gulf countries.
