Newly freed inmate arrested for robbery, attempted homicide

CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Police arrested a recently freed inmate after he allegedly shot a man whom he tried to rob on Maundy Thursday in San Miguel town. Police identified the suspect as “Lon,” 47, who was arrested in a cemetery in Barangay Sta. Rita Bata during a police hot pursuit operation at dawn on Good Friday.
