A balcony collapsed on Pigassou Street, Corinth on Saturday afternoon, killing a 43-year-old woman of German nationality. According to police, the woman was walking with her family at around 3:00pm when a balcony collapsed, causing fatal head injuries. Two children with the family sustained minor injuries. Five firefighters in two vehicles responded to the scene, removed the unconscious woman, and handed her over to the National Center for Emergency Care (EKAV).
