MANILA, Philippines—Some areas in Quezon City, Bulacan, Laguna, Cavite, and Pampanga will have power interruptions this week because of maintenance work, Meralco said on Sunday. In Quezon City, some parts of Brgy. Kamuning and Brgy. Sacred Heart will have no power on April 8-9 between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. because of the replacement of electricity facilities and line reconductoring work along Kamuning Road in Bgy. Kamuning. Also, some locations in Brgy. Don Manuel in Mabuhay, Quezon City will have no electricity on April 8 between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. because of line reconductoring works, replacement of electricity facilities and the installation of additional lightning protection devices along Nicanor Ramirez St. Meanwhile, some areas in the villages of Malipampang, Calasag, Telepatio, Calawitan and Pulong Tamo in San Ildefonso, Bulacan, and some parts of Brgy. Pangclara in Candaba, Pampanga will have power interruptions on April 7 between 12:01 a.m. and 1 a.m. because of line reconstruction work along Malipampang-Calasag Road. Some locations in the villages of Balasing and Bulac in Sta. Maria, and some parts of Brgy. Tigbe, Norzagaray in Bulacan will have no power on April 12 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. because of the installation of electricity facilities. In Cavite, several villages in Alfonso, Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, Gen. Trias City, Magallanes, Maragondon, Naic, Tanza, Ternate, and Trece Martires City will have short power interruptions on March 5 between 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. due to load normalization activities related to the NGCP Tuy-Dasmariñas 500 kilovolt line project. All of Bamboo Heights Subd. in the villages of Pasong Kawayan 1 and Pasong Kawayan 2 in General Trias City will have no power on April 8 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. due to line reconstruction works. In Laguna, some areas in Barangay II (Tibag), Calamba City will have no electricity on April 9 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. because of the installation and replacement of electricity facilities along Tibag Road.
