FOR the very first time, the Philippines will host the WAN-IFRA Digital Media Asia (DMA) 2026, Asia-Pacific’s largest news media event. Scheduled for April 27 to 29 at the Manila Hotel, the conference would gather the media leaders, innovators and disruptors. Now in its 18th year, DMA has become the defining event for digital transformation, revenue innovation, and emerging technologies in publishing. Representing 3,000 news publishing companies, 40 member-associations, and 18,000 publications in 120 countries, WAN-IFRA brings the world’s largest press organization to Manila. For the duration of the DMA 2026, participants will be immersed in a world of ideas, strategies and innovations. Participants will get a chance to discover how artificial intelligence, shifting platform dynamics, and the creator economy are reshaping the industry. International news organizations will present case studies on building sustainable digital revenue models, while regional groups from the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia add depth and local relevance.
