THE Southern Police District apprehended the sixth most wanted person on Easter Sunday, April 5, in Barangay Putatan, Muntinlupa City. The man is facing charges for Violation of Section 5, Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. The Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 256 issued a bench warrant of arrest on March 26 with no bail recommended. Members of the Warrant and Subpoena Unit of the Muntinlupa City Police Station conducted the operation. Authorities said the arrest was meticulously recorded using a Philippine National Police Body-Worn Camera and a cellular phone as an Alternative Recording Device to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the operation. The suspect is currently detained at the Muntinlupa City Police Station pending the return of the warrant to the court.
