LAHORE: Pakistan Super League (PSL) has emerged as a best market for investment and the time was not far when it would become the best league in the world, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Syed Mohsin Naqvi, said. He said this while chairing the 82nd meeting of the PCB Board of Governors (BoG) here on Sunday. The meeting approved annual audit monetary statements for the financial year, 2024-25. It also approved the PCB’s procedural rules in light of the International Cricket Council’s Global Anti-Corruption Code. The meeting also gives nod for an expression of interest (EOI) for cooperating with the Saudi Arabia Cricket Federation for building a cricket stadium in Jeddah. It also approved the delimitation of zones of the Lahore Region in light of its boundaries. The meeting acknowledged the services of Abdullah Khurram Niazi for playing an important role in the promotion of domestic cricket. The members of the BoG Anwaar Ahmad Ghani, Tariq Sarwar, Adnan Malik, Sajjad Khokhar, Zafarullah, Ismael Qureshi, Zaheer Abbas, secretary cabinet, PSL chief executive officer, PCB chief operating officer, chief financial officer, director media, director domestic cricket, director commercial and other concerned officials attended the meeting.
