PNP: No major incidents during Holy Week 2026

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) recorded no major incidents during this year’s observance of Holy Week. The agency had deployed 98,636 police officers for security measures amid the influx of travelers, devotees and tourists. “Overall, Holy Week was generally peaceful across the country with no major incidents reported,” PNP Chief Gen.
