13-year-old boy drowns in Northern Samar river

TACLOBAN CITY — A 13-year-old boy was declared dead following a suspected drowning incident in a river in Las Navas, Northern Samar, on Sunday afternoon. The victim, identified only as “ABM,” a Grade 7 student and resident of Barangay Dolores, reportedly went out earlier that day to gather vegetables. According to a report from the Las Navas Municipal Police Station (MPS), the incident occurred at around 3:00 p.m. in Barangay Bulao.
