Malaysia Airlines expands East Asia network with Shenzhen and Changsha routes, resumes Fukuoka flights

As part of a broader strategy to strengthen regional connectivity ahead of Visit Malaysia 2026 initiatives, flag carrier Malaysia Airlines is expanding its East Asia footprint with new routes to China and the return of direct flights to Japan.  The airline said it will begin direct services from Kuala Lumpur to Shenzhen and Changsha in July 2026, followed by the resumption of flights to Fukuoka in September, nearly two decades after the route was last operated in 2006.  The move reflects the airline’s strategic focus on high-demand markets, particularly China and Japan, as travel demand continues to rebound and expand […]...
