CEBU CITY, Philippines — A 35-year-old man was arrested for attempted arson after trying to set fire to his neighbor’s house in Liloan, Cebu, on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 12:59 a.m. The suspect was identified as Jeffy Guidon Quijano, single, a resident of the said place. Based on the investigation of the Liloan Police Station, the suspect was seen by multiple witnesses throwing an improvised lamp — a bottle filled with gasoline — at the roof of his neighbor’s house, owned by Arnold Jakosalem Agacita, 54 years old.
