LUCENA CITY — Three motorcycle riders died in separate road accidents in Quezon province on Sunday and Monday, police reported. In Tagkawayan town, a motorcyclist identified only as “Jeomar” died after colliding with a passenger bus along Quirino Highway in Barangay San Francisco at 12:50 a.m. Monday, according to the Quezon Police Provincial Office. Police said Jeomar veered into the opposite lane and crashed into a Bicol-bound bus driven by “Philip.” The driver attempted to swerve to avoid the collision, but the short distance between the vehicles made it unavoidable.
