"A military funeral was held at the Cikutra Heroes Cemetery in Cimahi for Captain Zulmi Aditya, one of three Indonesian National Armed Forces personnel serving with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) killed in alleged Israeli attacks between March 30 and 31. Footage captured on Sunday shows mourners gathering to pay their respects, as soldiers carry the coffin and the funeral ceremony. "As his relative, I share in the deep sorrow over the passing of our Indonesian hero," said Sumiati, a relative of the fallen soldier. Aditya's remains arrived in Indonesia late on Saturday and were transported to his family home in Cimahi before the funeral, which was conducted with full military honours. Neighbour Asep Saripudin said Zulmi was known for his warmth and friendliness. "Whenever he returned from his travels, he would always make a point to visit the neighbours," he said. The three Indonesian peacekeepers were killed in incidents in southern Lebanon during a recent surge in hostilities. According to UNIFIL, one soldier was killed by artillery fire, while two others died the following day during a convoy escort operation. Israel has denied responsibility for the killings, claiming that Hezbollah planted the explosives that killed the two peacekeepers escorting the convoy. The coffins arrived in Indonesia on Saturday and were received in a ceremony attended by President Prabowo Subianto. Following the ceremony, Foreign Minister Sugiono called for a thorough United Nations investigation into the killings."
