After 10 years with the agency, TEN has officially ended his contract with SM Entertainment, though he still remains a member of NCT and its sub-unit, WayV. SM Entertainment announced in a statement on Weverse on Monday, April 6, that TEN will depart the label after reaching a joint agreement following “careful and extensive discussions” over the K-pop star’s future activities. “Following careful and extensive discussions regarding TEN’s future direction, we have reached a mutual understanding to conclude his exclusive contract with SM Entertainment, effective April 8,” it said.
