MANILA, Philippines — The Department of the Interior and Local Government on Monday announced a ban on street drinking and late-night videoke. It also banned men from roaming topless and imposed a curfew for minors. “Just to be clear, we have [the] Anti-Public Intoxication Act. Drinking on the streets is no longer allowed. You can no longer place chairs and tables on the road and go on a drinking spree anymore,” Interior Secretary JonVic Remulla said. “That is the number one source of street fights and sexual harassment. I am telling you now, if we catch you drinking on the street, we will arrest you,” Remulla said.
