Danger level heat index forecast in 2 areas on Tuesday, April 7

MANILA, Philippines — The heat index on Tuesday, April 7 is expected to hit the danger level in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro and Dumangas, Iloilo, according to the state weather bureau. Heat index is defined by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) as the measure of the contribution that high humidity makes with abnormally high temperatures in reducing the body’s ability to cool itself.
