Marcos vows to help amend 35-year-old Local Government Code

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Monday committed to address financial and administrative limitations of local government units (LGUs) in the country that affect their full devolution and delivery of basic services to their constituents by modifying the 35-year-old Local Government Code.
