Trail of destruction - Multiple residential buildings damaged in Ramat Gan as Iranian missile fragments rock central Israel

"Several residential buildings and dozens of cars were damaged in Ramat Gan, central Israel, on Monday, following a wave of Iranian ballistic missiles. Footage shows buildings with windows shattered, and roofs collapsed after a missile fragment tore through the structure. Beneath, cars and roads remain blanketed in rubble as emergecy responders work to clear the area. "There is a moderately injured person from the immediate vicinity who was evacuated, and a lightly injured person in the entire district," Chief Commander of Dan District Station of Fire and Rescue Services, Oren Shishetsky, said during his site visit. "There are 11 other scenes with two additional lightly injured people who were evacuated," he added. Commander of the Tel Aviv District, Haim Sargrof, said security services used motorcycles to manoeuvre through the densely urban area during the search and rescue operation. "We arrived at the scene and identified a direct hit on the second floor of the building," Sargrof said. "We are continuing to scan until complete clearance, and of course, we will need to check the stability of the building because it seems there is a fear of the structure collapsing.” Ramat Gan Mayor Carmel Shama HaCohen said a balcony of a house was destroyed after being hit by heavy shrapnel in the Negba area in the city. At least two people were injured in the strikes, according to authorities. This comes as Pakistan, Egypt, and Turkey rush to propose an immediate 45-day ceasefire between the US and Iran in a bid to halt the five-week-old war that has engulfed the wider region. US President Donald Trump has given Iran a deadline until Tuesday night to open the Strait of Hormuz and has threatened to hit its power plants and bridges if it fails to do so."
