Fair weather Tuesday with likely isolated rains, says Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — Generally fair weather with isolated rains in the afternoon are expected across much of the country, the state weather bureau said Tuesday. According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), a ridge of a high-pressure area (HPA) is currently extending over Northern and Central Luzon. “Areas where the ridge of the high-pressure area extends have a lower chance of thunderstorms,” Pagasa weather specialist Veronica Torres said.
