MANILA, Philippines – Motorists are facing another punishing week as oil companies roll out fresh double-digit increases, extending the streak of price hikes to five consecutive weeks since tensions in the Middle East escalated on Feb. 28. The latest adjustments, which take effect Tuesday, have pushed diesel prices to as high as P172.90 per liter, gasoline to P119.90, and kerosene to P178.29, marking some of the steepest levels seen in recent months.
