MANILA, Philippines—The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (Caap) on Tuesday said it monitored 564,890 passengers in the 44 airports it operates during the Holy Week or from March 28 to April 5. Caap said that this year’s passenger traffic is heavier than last year’s 505,511 Holy Week passengers. But despite the slight increase in passenger traffic, Caap said operations remained generally smooth and orderly across all its operated airports.
