Certain groups face heightened vulnerability to listeria infection, including people aged 65 and over, pregnant women and their unborn children. In addition, infants under one month old and anyone with a compromised immune system should exercise extreme caution. The bacterial contamination poses the greatest threat to these vulnerable populations, making the recall especially urgent for affected individuals.
