A well-known Viennese policewoman was sentenced to 15 months of conditional imprisonment on Tuesday at the criminal court for abuse of authority and attempted incitement to false testimony. The 60-year-old allegedly did not come to the aid of colleagues who had an accident during an operation in Vienna-Döbling. She claimed not to have noticed the crash in front of a gas station while she was drinking her coffee there. The verdict is not legally binding.
