"The top floor of a residential building was destroyed in Central Israel on Tuesday after being reportedly hit by an Iranian missile fragment. Footage shows responders searching through piles of rubble and overturned furniture at the damage site. The exact date and location of the footage cannot be independently verified. At least one person sustained injuries due to the Iranian attack on Central Israel. Multiple damage to property and infrastructure was also reported in Bnei Brak and Tel Aviv. This comes amid escalating tensions following joint military operations by the United States and Israel against Iran on February 28. Tehran has responded with strikes targeting Israeli and US assets across the region, with the conflict extending to Hezbollah in Lebanon. The conflict also saw access restrictions to the Strait of Hormuz, a key route for roughly 20 percent of global oil and liquefied natural gas. US President Donald Trump issued a 48-hour ultimatum, expiring April 7, demanding that Iran reopen the Strait of Hormuz or face strikes on energy sites. In response, Iran's navy said that "the Strait of Hormuz will never return to its former state, especially for America and Israel". Iran has reported over 2,000 deaths since the start of the war. The US has confirmed at least 13 military service personnel killed, with around two dozen fatalities admitted by the Israeli side."
