Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Asangba Chuba Ao, said on April 7 that while several countries have imposed airspace restrictions, causing unprecedented disruption in global aviation networks, Indian carriers have maintained services from the region, showcasing resilience and operational agility. Keeping that mind, he added that DGCA has temporarily relaxed pilot flight duty time limitation for long-haul flights, to prevent acute crew shortage.
