THE Manila Times School of Journalism will hold a one-day masterclass on visual storytelling and photojournalism on May 8, 2026, in Intramuros, Manila. Titled “Visual Storytelling: Fundamentals of Photojournalism,” the workshop aims to equip participants with practical skills in capturing compelling images and telling impactful stories through photography. The session will be led by media consultant and veteran photojournalist Fernando “Jun” Garcia Sepe Jr., who has worked with major news organizations and currently serves as a lecturer and photography consultant. The masterclass will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the 3rd Floor of the Sitio Grande Building, 409 A. Soriano Avenue. The workshop is open to high school students and above, as well as individuals interested in journalism, photography, and multimedia storytelling. Registration fees are set at P5,000 for non-students and P4,000 for students. An early bird rate of P3,000 is available until April 15, 2026. Participants will gain insights into the fundamentals of photojournalism, including visual composition, storytelling techniques, and real-world applications in media.
