Two men charged after woman allegedly robbed during Portland taxi ride

Portland detectives have charged two men with multiple offences following the alleged abduction and robbery of a woman in St Margaret’s Bay last month. Charged are 31-year-old electrician Jerome McLean and 24-year-old labourer Kagan Gibson, both of Snow Hill in the parish. They have been charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, using a firearm to commit a felony, robbery with aggravation, being part of a criminal organisation, and benefiting from criminal activity, according to a police statement issued on Monday.
