MANILA, Philippines – The weather bureau said Wednesday a low-pressure area (LPA) was spotted outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). As of 2 a.m., the LPA was located 3,095 km. east of northeastern Mindanao, and has a high chance of developing into a tropical cyclone in the next 24 hours, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA). PAGASA weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said the country would experience warm and humid weather on Wednesday.
