MANILA, Philippines – Unemployment in the Philippines eased in February to 5.1 percent, falling from the previous month’s pandemic-era high of 5.8 percent, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported on Wednesday. This translated to about 2.66 million jobless Filipinos, fewer than the 2.96 million recorded in January.
