Finance minister Suresh Khanna said a provision of ₹2,000 crore was made for the scheme in the state’s annual budget for the year 2025-2026, and appropriate arrangements have been made for the current financial year. He said the decision would help students pursuing diploma, graduate and post-graduate courses, skill development and other programmes.
