LAHORE: Provincial Health Minister Balochistan Bakht Muhammad Kakar called on Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan at the Governor House during which discussions focused on ongoing health projects in Balochistan and inter-provincial cooperation. The Balochistan Health Minister apprised the governor about the ongoing reforms in the health sector in the province. The governor said that cooperation in the medical sector between the provinces will help provide better medical facilities to the people. He underlined the need to increase inter provincial cooperation in the education sector, especially between universities. The governor further said that equal development of all four provinces is necessary for the development of the country. He said the government is adopting zero tolerance to eliminate terrorism in Balochistan. He said the officers and soldiers of the Pakistani army and security forces are sacrificing their lives to eradicate terrorism from the country. He said that successful operations of the security forces against the Indian sponsored terrorists in Balochistan are commendable. He further said the Pakistan People’s Party has been mobilized and made active throughout the province. He expressed the hope that the PPP will win in the next elections in all four provinces including Balochistan and Bilawal Bhutto is likely to become the Prime Minister. Provincial Health Minister Balochistan Bakht Muhammad Kakar said the PPP government has especially upgraded the health centres established in the remote areas of Balochistan in the last 15 months.
