CEBU CITY, Philippines — An Indonesia-based company is expected to relaunch exploration and start development of the oil field in Alegria, southwestern Cebu, the national government announced. The Department of Energy (DOE) confirmed that Texcal Energy had been permitted to continue oil exploration there. Among the plans expected from the new contractor is the establishment of a refinery for the production of bunker and diesel fuel, said DOE Usec. Alessandro Sales.
