MANILA, Philippines — The number coding scheme is suspended on Thursday, April 9, in observance of Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor), the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced Wednesday. This means that even vehicles with plate numbers ending in “7” and “8” will be allowed on major roads on Thursday.
